Ida hand dyed yarn
Ida hand dyed yarn – a semi solid/tonal colourway in the most stunning pale blue, with a whisp of mint. Some strands of this colourway absorb deeper tones in the dye pot and as the dye breaks down, tiny micro speckles appear in some skeins therefore, this colourway might work up with slightly darker and speckled areas in your finished fabric. Just gorgeous! This colourway develops uniquely on each different base.
Dip dyed in a diluted dye mix to produce a gentle, muted tone. Like all colourways, Ida is soaked and rinsed multiple times till the water runs clear. This ensures colour bleeding is minimal in your finished project.
If you require sweater quantities of this colourway please contact me for a custom order (four or more skeins of the same colourway). Although it is the very nature of hand dyed yarn to be unique from skein to skein, ordering more of the same colourway in the future increases the chance of the colours being more varied. Custom orders are dyed all at once and are more likely to be closer in colour.

Due to the nature of the hand dying process, not all skeins will be exactly the same however, much care is taken to get them as close as possible.
If using multiple skeins it is advisable to alternate between skeins throughout your project.
Best colour representation as possible however, colours may vary slightly between screens.
Please be aware that there may be small amounts of bare yarn within any given skein and your project may work up differently to the sample shown. This is the nature and charm of hand dyed yarn.
Those with cat allergies, please be aware that I do have two kitties that live at the Fiber Lily residence.
